Green, Green, I Am Seeing Green

Well I'm a little late posting our St. Patrick's Day fun, but better late than never.  :-) I don't know about you, but it seems we have been rushing with St. Patrick's Day and Easter so close together.  So here is a look at our adorable Leprechauns and Pots of Gold.  They turned out so cute and colorful.  The kids loved making them.

Our pots of gold turned out so cute and colorful.  Hanging in the hall, they give you a feeling of spring.  As I was putting them up in the hall, children kept walking by saying "Those are so cute Mrs. Ring" or "I love them Mrs. Ring".  You never know what a kids will really likes.  :-) Below is a closer look of some of our pots of gold.  The gold is made by dipping a round object of choice in glue and stamping the glue on the yellow paper.  Glitter is then sprinkled on top.  The rainbow is made by cutting streamers into thin strips.  Very pretty.

I make leprechauns each year, but these have to be my favorite.  They were so colorful and cute.  Such personality in each face.  We painted a paper plate orange.  After the paint dried we glued a piece of circle shaped construction paper on top of the orange for the face so that just the orange beard shows.  The kids cut slits around the plate to make the beard a little more 3-D.

Love this winking face.
